For over five decades, our client has been reducing landfill by making their paper products from recycled paper. Our client uses paper collected from residential neighborhoods, from the small blue baskets in office buildings, from unwanted junk mail, and waste from printers–all in an effort to do something good, to produce something that people need from this discarded paper.

This client partnered with Duet Recruiting to help fill a Paper Machine Asset Manager role. 
The Paper Machine Asset Manager is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of a paper machine and support equipment in assigned area. Responsible for the overall machine operations using reliability concepts and critical thinking skills to effectively troubleshoot and solve complex operating issues. The incumbent is expected to provide leadership and influence to impact safety, cost, quality and human resource results. The Paper Asset Manager provides leadership for all hourly employees in a union environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Paper Science or other technical discipline
  • 5 or more years of experience working within a pulp & paper manufacturing operation required.
  • At least 5 years experience in a supervisory role in a paper environment
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in Pulp & Paper or Manufacturing required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
